A tentative line up has been announced for the two-day festival in Harrowsmith.
Organizers of Line Spike Frontenac music festival are looking forward to warm, sunny days and a brighter future.
They released the tentative line up for the 2026 edition of the festival which will take place in Harrowsmith June 27th and 28th. Once again, it will feature a line up of mostly Canadian acts.
Organizer Jeremy Campbell says they have secured a pair of acts that are considered the best Canadian artists no one has ever heard of.
A number of well-known musicians performed at the 2025 festival including Juno Award winners Burton Cummings, Walk Off the Earth, and Chantal Kreviazuk.
Campbell says this time around they are putting their focus on more local talent.
Jessie T, Luscious, The Grievous Angels, Abby Stewart, Emilie Steele & The Deal, and Crooked Wood are among the acts scheduled to perform.
Campbell says Line Spike Frontenac could also have a musician from outside Canada perform at the festival.
Despite thousands of people attending the inaugural festival last June, the event ended up more than $225,000 in the red. They also had their liquor license revoked by the Township of South Frontenac which resulted in patrons being allowed to bring in their own drinks.
Campbell says the BYOB concept is what they will be enforcing at the festival this summer.
Campbell says they expect to announce more artists that will be performing at Line Spike in the new year.
