Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery returns with a $1.64-million grand prize and renewed support for local charities.
The Kinsmen Club of Kingston is giving Kingston residents a shot at their “dream home” through the 35th Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery. The grand prize is a fully furnished home, built by Tamarack Homes with a total value of $1,644,000, including landscaping, a pool/spa, furniture, appliances and high-end finishings.
Chair of the Dream Home, Graham Forsythe, shares some of his favourite features added to the home this year.
Tickets cost $150 each, with a cap of 17,500 tickets sold.
Aside from the grand prize, the lottery also awards 18 additional prizes — ranging from cash and vacation packages to a car and furniture packages.
Organizers emphasize that all proceeds support community charities and local causes, making the lottery a way to give back while hoping for a big win. Forsythe says their focus remains on helping people in need across Kingston.
For residents in Kingston and surrounding areas, the lottery offers more than just a chance at luxury — it’s a chance to be part of a community effort while dreaming big.
