Two people were seen fleeing from a home on foot in the area of Barbara and Alfred.
Three schools in Kingston were put in a hold and secure.
Police were investigating a break and enter in the area of Barbara Ave and Alfred Cres Monday morning.
Investigators says two people were seen leaving a home on foot around 10:15 am. They say they are currently searching the area for the suspects.
Kingston Secondary School, Regiopolis Notre-Dame Catholic High School and Molly Brant Elementary School were placed in a hold a secure for precautionary measures. It was lifted at around 11:20 am after determining there was no threat to students or residents in the area.
There is no description of the suspects at this time and the investigation continues.
