Salon Yetmir gives back to the community with a one-day event of complimentary haircuts
Kingston residents in need can receive a free haircut this holiday season thanks to a local salon’s generosity. On Monday, December 22, from 10am-4pm at Salon Yetmir, owned by Yetmir, will provide complimentary haircuts to individuals facing financial or personal challenges. Owner of the salon Yetmir Keqa says that they want to give back to the community.
The event is part of the salon’s effort to give back to the community during a time that can be especially difficult for some. Salon Yetmir hopes the initiative will bring a sense of care and confidence to those who attend. Keqa says that there will be 3 staff members working all day and that families are welcome to come down.
“This is a small way for us to support people in our community,” said Keqa. The complimentary service will be offered throughout the day, you can DM or call the salon to make an appointment but walk-ins are welcome.
Salon Yetmir is located on 727 Gardiners Rd. and encourages anyone who could benefit from a free haircut to stop by.
