Those interested have until this Tuesday to apply.
Sometimes the best badge doesn’t come with a paycheque — it comes with pride.
The Kingston Police Community Volunteers are hosting a recruiting drive on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at police headquarters. The event invites residents to learn more about the program, ask questions and complete an application.
Applicants must bring two pieces of photo identification, including a driver’s licence. Application forms are also available at the front desk during regular hours.
To qualify, candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Class G driver’s licence, and maintain a clean driving and criminal record. They must also be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, commit to at least eight hours of service per month, and agree to volunteer for a minimum of two years.
Applications must be submitted by September 30 to be considered for the next intake.
The program supports Kingston Police through community outreach and special events.
