Kingston event offers a relaxed way to prioritize breast health

Girls’ Night Out on Oct. 22 will offer screening information, social activities and mammogram appointments for eligible attendees.

Breast Imaging Kingston is inviting women and gender-diverse individuals aged 40 and older to a special evening focused on breast health during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Girls’ Night Out event will take place Oct. 22 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at 820 John Marks Ave. in Kingston.

Hosted by Rose of Hope Clinical Chair in Breast Health Dr. Doris Jabs, the event will offer health information, resources, games and opportunities to connect in a welcoming environment.

Eligible attendees who are due for breast screening can also receive a mammogram during the event, but appointments must be booked in advance.

Those without appointments can still attend, explore the facility and arrange a future screening appointment with staff.

The event aims to make breast health conversations and screening more comfortable and accessible.

Registration is available through Eventbrite.
