More than 200 people turned out and raised over $79,000 to help the homeless.
It didn't feel like the coldest night of the year, but it did get a record number of people out to raise money for the homeless.
Hundreds of Kingston residents came out on Saturday (28th) to do the 5 km walk from the Kingston Gospel Temple to the Starbucks at Cataraqui Centre.
The event was organized by Lionhearts and CEO Travis Blackmore says they set record highs in the number of participants and money raised.
While it was cold, there was hardly any precipitation outside making the trek a little more easy for the participants
Blackmore says you couldn't have asked for more better conditions.
The night was nothing short of spectacular.
Blackmore credits the volunteers for putting the event together.
