A 21-year-old is facing a number of charges.
A 21-year-old Kingston driver is facing multiple charges after a dramatic police chase through the city Wednesday night.
On November 12, 2025, Kingston Police received four separate 9-1-1 calls about the dangerous driving of a pickup truck. Around 7:20 p.m., an officer spotted the vehicle near Concession and MacDonnell Streets and attempted a traffic stop.
Police say the driver refused to stop and fled eastbound at a high rate of speed. Officers reported seeing sparks flying from the truck’s rear passenger side as it continued to drive on its rim.
The vehicle was later found on Adelaide Street with the driver still inside.
The suspect was arrested and taken to Kingston Police Headquarters. The 21-year-old faces charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, and breaching probation. They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
