Families invited to winter sky show and Frontenacs game at Slush Puppie Place on Feb. 13.
Downtown Kingston will light up the winter sky on Friday, Feb. 13, with a free drone show celebrating the launch of a new banana Slush Puppie flavour.
Slush Puppie Canada is presenting the show above The Tragically Hip Way at 6:15 p.m., ahead of a Kingston Frontenacs home game at Slush Puppie Place. The puck drops at 7 p.m., giving families and hockey fans a full evening of entertainment.
To support the event, the City of Kingston says The Tragically Hip Way will be closed to vehicles between King and Ontario streets before the drone show. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead for parking.
Special ticket options are available, including the Goin’ Bananas Pack for one adult and one youth, which includes a complimentary banana Slush Puppie. Family four-packs are also on sale.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring people together and kick off the Family Day weekend.
