Organizations hosting festivals or events in the Kingston and surrounding areas between April 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027 can now apply for Experience Ontario 2026 funding.
The program supports multi-day events and Canada Day celebrations that attract visitors, highlight local experiences, create tourism and cultural sector jobs, and boost Ontario’s profile.
Eligible applicants include municipalities, not-for-profits, businesses, and Indigenous communities. Events must be public and run at least two consecutive days, with Canada Day events exempt from the minimum.
Applications are due December 16, 2025, at 4 p.m. (EST). Experience Ontario is competitive and funding is not guaranteed.
Interested organizations can attend webinars in English on November 19 and 20 or in French on November 25 to learn guidelines, best practices, and tips.
