Homeowners with security video near the scene on Conacher Dr. are being asked to come forward.
Kingston Police are investigating an early morning incident involving a firearm in the 300 block of Conacher Drive.
Officers were called to the area around 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1.
No one was hurt, and police say they do not believe there is any risk to public safety at this time. However, residents can expect a larger police presence in the neighbourhood while the investigation continues.
Police are asking anyone with doorbell or security camera footage from the area to check their recordings between Conacher Drive east toward Sutherland Drive and Montreal Street, as well as Wilson Street to Drennan Street.
Anyone who may have information that could help identify a suspect is asked to contact Detective Staff Sergeant Blair Watt or Detective Sergeant Jim Veltman. Tips can also be provided anonymously by contacting Kingston Police and requesting to remain anonymous as officers work to determine what happened.
