A 20-year-old woman is facing charges in addition to having license suspended and vehicle impounded.
A Stone Mills woman is facing a number of charges after police say she tried to flee a traffic stop.
Officers from Lennox and Addington County OPP were conducting traffic patrol on County Road 1 Tuesday morning when they spotted a vehicle going 50 km/h over the posted speed limit.
Investigators say officers attempted to stop the vehicle but instead sped off at a high rate of speed.
They were able to stop the vehicle east of Napanee.
In addition to the charges, the 20-year-old driver had her license suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for two weeks.
