Police were called with reports of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road.
An Amherstview resident is facing impaired driving charges after Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Sunday night.
Just after 10:00 p.m., police were called to Manitou Crescent in Amherstview after reports of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road.
Officers arrived and found the vehicle, quickly arresting the driver.
The 39-year-old has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 15, 2025.
