A sure sign of fall is the schedule for yard waste collection in Kingston is now out.
The City says brush collection starts Mon. Sept. 22 and leaf collection on Mon. Oct. 27.
Residents are being asked to pile their brush loosely at the side of the curb by 8 a.m. on the Monday.
Leaves must be put in paper bags and placed loosely in garbage cans, bushel bags, or other rigid-sided receptacles by 8 a.m. on the Monday.
They say that brush will not be collected during leaf collection weeks, and leaves will not be collected during brush collection weeks.
Yard waste may also be dropped off at 196 Lappan’s Lane or at Tomlinson Organics at 2069 Joyceville Rd.
