Big cleanup continues
Student transportation was cancelled across several parts of our listening area today due to ongoing snow-covered secondary and side roads.
Cancellations affect North Hastings, North, Central and South Lennox and Addington, North and Central Frontenac, South Frontenac, and the Kingston area weather zones, according to Tri-Board Student Transportation.
Officials said conditions remain unsafe in many areas following recent heavy snowfall, prompting another day without bus service.
Schools remain open, and parents or guardians who choose to drive students to school are reminded they must also arrange pickup at the end of the day.
