Boat had been seen adrift leading to search
The 80 year-old owner of a boat that was found adrift, has been found deceased.
Reports came in earlier about an empty boat drifting on Knowlton Lake. Residents also found clothing floating in the water and vehicle had been left at the boat launch.
The man's remains were found yesterday (Sept. 4) at about 1:45 pm after an extensive search by The OPP Marine Unit and South Frontenac Fire and Rescue.
The investigation into what happened continues.
