A goal of $150,000 would help send 600 kids to summer camp.
The South East chapter of the Boys and Girls Club are hoping to put a "silver" lining in a child's life.
Thursday marks the start of their May fundraising campaign.
2025 is the 25th year of the campaign that sees money raised going towards programs for local children and youth.
In a news release, donations will support three current needs: food, education, and inclusion.
BGC South East has raised over $1 Million since 2001.
They have set a goal of $150,000 which is enough to send 600 kids to summer camp.
They say one $250 donation sends one child to camp.
