A 26-year-old remains in police custody.
Police have laid 63 charges following an intimate partner violence and child abuse investigation in Leeds County.
Ontario Provincial Police say members of the Leeds County detachment, with assistance from the OPP Crime Unit, began investigating on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025. Five victims have been identified.
A 26-year-old man is charged with a wide range of Criminal Code offences, including attempted murder, sexual assault, sexual interference, forcible confinement, extortion, intimidation, and dangerous operation. Police also allege multiple counts of assault, including assault causing bodily harm by choking, suffocating or strangling.
The accused’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victims.
Police say the accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville in February 2026.
