John Jordan says there were encouraging discussions at the ROMA conference.
Local MPP John Jordan says the work being done by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Long-Term Care is WAS met with strong, positive feedback from across the province at the recent ROMA Conference.
Speaking in his role as Parliamentary Assistant to both ministries, Jordan says he heard encouraging remarks about recent changes in long-term care during discussions with sector leaders.
Jordan notes those changes are being noticed by operators and residents alike, and reflect continued efforts to improve care and staffing across the system.
He says hospitals also received positive attention, despite ongoing financial pressures faced by many facilities.
The MPP for Lanark-Frontenac Kingston adds that the feedback reinforces the importance of ongoing investments in health care and long-term care for communities across Ontario.
