A major redevelopment is in store for Block 4 in the North Block District.
The City of Kingston has chosen Patry Group, along with partners Milhaus and Broccolini, as the Preferred Developer for the major redevelopment of Block 4 in the North Block District.
City officials say the project will reshape downtown Kingston and boost its reputation as a hub for conferences, tourism and urban living.
The selection follows a strict multi-stage competitive process. Patry’s team was the only group to meet all mandatory requirements, and evaluators praised its design plans, heritage integration and financial strength. Officials also highlighted the team’s strong development experience.
With the decision made, Kingston will now enter an exclusive negotiation period with the developer to finalize the details of the project agreement. City staff say the redevelopment marks a significant step toward transforming a key piece of downtown and unlocking new economic opportunities.
