Opposition leaders stopped by Kingston

Marit Stiles and John Fraser were in town with their respective parties this past week.

The leaders of Ontario's opposition parties were in Kingston this past week.

The Liberals held their three-day caucus retreat that wrapped up on Wednesday.

In a news release, they wanted to set the caucus' priorities for the year ahead and strengthen its plan to build a more affordable and prosperous Ontario.

Interim Leader John Fraser says Kingston is a city built on education, innovation, and community — and that makes it the right place for our caucus to come together ahead of the next legislative session.

The leader of the opposition, NDP leader Marit Stiles, was in town last week as part of a tour stop.

She visited local training centres and spent time discussing issues with residents and party supporters.
