$350,000 is going to Fédération des gens d’affaires francophones de l’Ontario (FGA) to provide essential French-language services to francophone businesses and entrepreneurs in southern Ontario.
Collège Boréal will be getting $600,000 to provide training and employment pathways for Francophone newcomers and entrepreneurs in Windsor and across central southwestern Ontario.
Kingston and the Islands MP Mark Gerretsen was at the ACFOMI office on Highway 15 in Kingston on Monday for the announcement. He was there on behalf of Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
Gerretsen says his government is building a strong economy in Kingston and across Southern Ontario through this investment.
