It appears more people found work in Kingston.
Statistics Canada released their jobs number for the month of January.
The unemployment rate in Kingston was at 6.0 percent, that is slightly down from 6.2 percent in December.
There were 900 more jobs added in January, 600 full-time and 300 part-time.
The health care and social assistance sector made up a good portion of the 93,900 total jobs in the Limestone City.
Nationally, the unemployment rate in January sat at 6.5 percent, down from 6.8 in December, despite a loss of about 25,000 jobs.
Many experts believe those numbers were the result of people deciding not to look for work.
