A 34-year-old was arrested after an incident at a business last January.
The Gananoque Police Service arrested a 34-year-old Kingston resident following an assault at a local business on January 7, 2026.
Police say a verbal argument escalated, and the accused assaulted the victim using a metal tool.
The individual was taken into custody and charged with Assault with a Weapon on two counts.
The accused was later released on an undertaking with conditions.
Gananoque Police remind the public that violence in workplaces or public spaces is taken seriously.
Anyone who witnesses or experiences assault is encouraged to contact authorities immediately to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
