The bust comes after a month-long drug investigation.
A month-long drug investigation has led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Kingston resident and the seizure of nearly a quarter-million dollars in drugs and cash.
On March 19, Kingston Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit executed a traffic stop near Front Road and Days Road. A search of the suspect’s home uncovered cocaine, crystal meth, LSD, psilocybin, Percocet, and hydromorphone pills. Police also seized digital scales, packaging materials, and more than $44,000 in cash.
The estimated street value of the drugs is $240,000.
The accused is facing six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime. They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police continue to investigate and encourage residents to report suspicious activity.
