Kingston Police have charged one of their officers in an impaired driving investigation.
An officer conducted a traffic stop on Brock St around 1:35 the morning of September 26.
An investigation determined the driver was over the legal blood alcohol limit. He was arrested and taken to Kingston Police for further testing.
Investigators say Peter Forbes, a 26-year member of the force, was off-duty at the time of the arrest. He has been placed on administrative duty during the investigation.
Forbes was released with a future court appearance.
