The public will see vessels, aircraft, drones, and emergency response personnel until Thursday.
You may see some Canadian Coast Guard ships along the Kingston waterfront.
Starting Tuesday, they will be conducting full-scale, on-water marine emergency exercises called Exercise Cataraqui Convergence.
The Department of National Defense says the exercises will take place on the waters in and around Kingston area and along nearby shorelines.
They say members of the public can expect to see vessels, aircraft, drones, and emergency response personnel throughout the area. But they say there is no real emergency and no danger to the public.
The Wolfe Islander III will be used as part of the exercises but those who use the ferry between Kingston and Wolffe Island will not see any interruptions as the Wolfe Islander IV will be in service.
The training exercises are expected to wrap up on Thursday.
