A member of the Kingston Police Service is facing criminal charges.
Belleville Police Service were asked by KPS to conduct an investigation into one of its officers.
Investigators there say the officer was off-duty at the time of an incident that occurred back in October.
Their investigation wrapped on Wednesday resulting in the officer being charged with criminal harassment.
The accused is out with a future court date.
They say no further details are being released in order to protect the identity of the victim and maintain the integrity of the investigation.
