No one was hurt after a fire broke out at a house on Montreal St in Kingston.
Crews with Kingston Fire and Rescue were called to home in the 700 block of Montreal St near Belle Park around 8 pm Monday.
Flames were seen coming out of the lower unit of the multi-residential dwelling.
Fire officials say all occupants managed to escape the burning home and the fire was quickly extinguished. They say damage is estimated to be around $150,000 and the cause has not been determined.
Displaced residents were put up in temporary accommodations by the Red Cross while Kingston Transit supplied a bus to serve as a warming centre.
