Growing Up on the Farm, a look into local agriculture presented by Hartington Equipment also fueled by KUBOTA.
The Perry Farm raises Maine-Anjou beef cattle.
Dave Perry is one of eight generations of beef farmers in his family.
His grandparents were dairy farmer milking cow by hand. Dave himself was milking cows as early as 6 years old.
They soon turned their attention to beef cattle, in particular Maine-Anjou, a breed of cattle that is usually raised in France.
The farm also has a store where people can buy locally-sourced food.
Perry often takes his cattle to events to showcase them and sell them to other farmers.
