New Kingston campus location offers daily service and affordable intercity travel.
FlixBus is expanding its Ontario network with a new stop at Queen’s University, offering students more direct and affordable travel options.
The service launches Feb. 23, with two daily departures in each direction, seven days a week. The stop is located on Union Street in front of Goodes Hall.
The new route connects Kingston with Toronto, Scarborough, Port Hope, Cobourg, Belleville and Ottawa, including service to Union Bus Terminal and the VIA Rail station in Ottawa. Riders can also access onward connections across the company’s wider network.
Karina Frayter, head of communications at Flix North America, says affordable and convenient travel is vital for student communities that frequently move between cities.
Buses offer free Wi-Fi, power outlets, comfortable seating and complimentary luggage allowances, with reserved seating available for an added fee.
