OPP are trying to determine what caused the fire.
Fire crews battled a tractor trailer fire on Highway 401 westbound, just west of County Road 32 (exit 645).
The westbound lanes were closed for several hours as firefighters and road crews worked to extinguish the fire and clear debris.
OPP reopened the highway around the noon hour.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
