OPP and MTO teamed up to conduct the blitz at the Gananoque inspection station.
OPP made sure the scales tipped in their favour.
Members of the Leeds detachment and the Ministry of Transportation conducted a blitz last Thursday at the Gananoque Truck Inspection Station.
They were observing tractor trailers and other large commercial vehicles that were required by law to enter the inspection station.
More than a dozen vehicles were inspected, six of them had by-passed the inspection station before being caught.
The blitz resulted in a total of 15 charges laid and four commercial vehicles taken off the road.
In addition, a 27-year-old man from Woodstock is facing charges after police discovered opioids during an inspection.
