The Civic Holiday on Monday, Aug. 4 will bring schedule changes to many City of Kingston and Utilities Kingston services.
There will be no garbage or green bin pickup on Monday. Collection will occur one day later than usual for the week. Residents are encouraged to download the free “Kingston Waste” app for reminders.
Banks and post-offices will be closed Monday. Most grocery stores, LCBO's and Beer stores are expected to be open.
Transit riders should expect a Sunday schedule, except Route 18, which runs on a weekday schedule. Kingston Access Bus will offer limited service.
Most recreation facilities, including Artillery Park and the INVISTA Centre, will be closed. The Culligan Water Park remains open.
Administrative offices, the Kingston Area Recycling Centre, and the Kingston Grand Theatre will also be closed.
