A pair of public information sessions is taking place at the Memorial Centre.
The City of Kingston are hosting a pair of public information sessions on the planned reconstruction of a stretch of Princess St.
It will be taking place in the southeast section of the Memorial Centre near Culligan Water Park.
The first one goes Sept. 25, the second one on Nov. 20. Both sessions will run from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The information sessions will cover the Frontenac St. Green Street Initiative.
Princess between Division St. and Albert St. as well as Garrett St. will be completely rebuilt. Work is expected to begin in 2026.
In a news release, the Williamsville Renewal project is being driven by underground infrastructure upgrades that are needed to support growth in the area. Work will also include separating sanitary and storm water sewers into separate systems.
They say once work on Princess St. is complete, it will have: new cycle tracks, upgraded transit stops, new sidewalks and curbs, and more.
Those who can't attend the public information sessions can see the presentation at the Get Involved Kingston website.
