Loyalist Township is inviting youth aged 13 to 18 to help shape the future of arts, culture, and heritage at the upcoming Youth Ideas Lab. The event takes place Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Amherstview Community Hall, 177 Upper Park Road.
Participants will have the chance to add their mark to a collaborative doodle wall, play future-themed games, pitch ideas, and vote on community projects. Attendees can also complete the Township survey for a chance to win prizes, all while enjoying free snacks and refreshments. Youth are encouraged to bring friends or come solo to contribute their creativity and ideas.
The Youth Ideas Lab is part of Loyalist Township’s 10-Year Arts, Culture & Heritage Master Plan, providing a safe and welcoming space where young voices are valued. Township staff say the event is an exciting opportunity for youth leadership and creativity to help shape the community’s cultural future.
