Bill Welychka's last book signing of 2025 set for Kingston Indigo.
Kingston fans will have one last chance this year to meet one of Canada’s most recognizable TV personalities.
MuchMusic legend and best-selling author Bill Welychka will host his final book signing of 2025 on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 12 noon at Indigo in Kingston. The event marks the only in-store appearance remaining this year for his memoir A Happy Has-Been, now released in a second edition. We spoke to Bill Welychka himself about his book.
The updated book includes new stories, photos and reflections from Welychka’s career and personal life, along with a foreword by The Tragically Hip’s Paul Langlois. A portion of proceeds continues to support the White Ribbon Campaign.
Welychka, who first appeared on MuchMusic in 1992, is the network’s longest-running VJ and has interviewed more than 5,000 stars from Madonna to Mick Jagger. His memoir quickly became a Canadian best-seller, drawing fans from across North America and beyond.
The Oct. 11 Kingston event is expected to draw a large crowd of longtime fans eager to celebrate his career, share memories, and take home a signed copy of his newest edition.
