Third Annual Kingston Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Awards Now Accepting Nominations

Celebrating the innovators and changemakers shaping Kingston’s future

The Kingston Economic Development Corporation has officially opened nominations for the third annual Kingston Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Awards, an initiative that celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of young leaders who are shaping the city’s future.

Community members have until August 8, 2025, to submit nominations for young professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence in their fields, made notable contributions to their industries, and shown commitment to the Kingston community.

Launched in 2023, the 40 Under 40 Awards have quickly become a highlight of Kingston’s business and civic calendar, recognizing individuals who not only excel professionally, but also dedicate time and energy to making Kingston a better place to live and work.

Past award recipients have credited the program with opening doors to new opportunities and connections.

An external adjudication committee—made up of past recipients—will review the nominations and select 40 individuals who best represent the values of leadership, impact, innovation, and community spirit.

Nomination Guidelines:

Deadline: August 8, 2025

Eligibility:

Must be under 40 years old as of December 31, 2025

Must live or work in Kingston or the surrounding area

Must show professional excellence, community involvement, and leadership
