There will be photo booths, wagon rides, taffy, axe throwing and kids' games in addition to the maple-flavoured treats.
A brand-new fall festival is bringing the sweet taste of maple to the countryside this weekend.
The first-ever Fallin’ for Maple event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Salmon River Sugar Bush in Tamworth. Admission is free.
More than 40 vendors will set up at the sugar bush for a day filled with autumn fun. Visitors can enjoy live music by Ted Lalonde, horse-drawn wagon rides with White’s Rides, and maple-inspired treats like sausages and burgers from Milligan Meats.
Mark Youmans talks about how Kingstonians might be familiar with them from Kingston Memorial Farmers Market.
The event also promises photo booths, maple candy apples, taffy, axe throwing and kids’ games, making it an ideal outing for families. Youmans also talks about other things at the event you won't want to miss out on.
Organizers say the festival is proudly supported by Naturally L&A.
Fallin’ for Maple will be held at 180 Gilmore Road, Tamworth.
