There is no burn ban but there are restrictions to setting fires that are in effect.
South Frontenac is advising people to be careful when lighting fires.
The Township moved into a high-risk fire category on Friday.
They say this is not a fire ban but no brush burning can take place during the day and all fires must be supervised.
In addition, open-fires is not permitted when the wind speeds or wind gusts exceed 25 km/h.
This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
