The CEO says the new name and website marks an exciting step forward as a new organization.
The three area health units have rebranded following the merger earlier this year and will now be known as Southeast Public Health.
The rebrand conceptualizes on wanting people to blossom and that reflects in the flowery logo, says Deputy Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li.
Li says while the name is now revealed, the switchover will take time.
The slogan, Healthy Together, encompasses what they hope to accomplish.
CEO Dr. Pitor Oglaza says the new name is an exciting step forward as a new organization.
He went on to say that the merger has made them a more stronger, resilient organization, that is able to deliver a broad variety of services that touch every stage of life and every corner of the region.
The new website will deliver news updates, Board of Health information, and links to regionally specific content.
Southeast Public Health was formerly the South East Health Unit at the start of 2025 when the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington Public Health, Hastings - Prince Edward Public Health, and Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit amalgamated.
