No one was hurt in Saturday's fire; damage is pegged at $200,000.
It appears a house fire over the weekend was triggered by someone who didn't put out their cigarette properly.
Kingston Fire and Rescue were called to a home on Evangeline Ave. Saturday afternoon.
They arrived to find flames coming out of a roof of a duplex around 12 noon.
An investigation revealed that the fire began in the back deck and was caused by what they are calling the improper disposal of smoking materials.
Damage is estimated to be around $200,000.
No one was hurt in the blaze.
