Queen's offering support for students affected by Middle East conflict

Support include extensions on tuition and counselling.

Several universities in Canada are looking to help international students who are affected by the ongoing war in the Middle East.

Queen's University has been reaching out and responding to students impacted by the conflict, including Iranian students, in helping provide compassionate, flexible support.

In a statement, some of that support include extensions for winter tuition and fee payments without late penalties, access to emergency bursaries where needed and expanded access to counselling and wellbeing supports.

They say they are working with the affected students individually as they navigate the impacts related to the conflict.

Other universities are also offering flexibility on admission requirements and exam deferrals.
