27-year-old Malik Mohamed is wanted for breaching a statutory release.
A federal offender may be in the Kingston area.
The provincial ROPE (Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement) squad says 27-year-old Malik Mohamed is known to frequent Kingston, Toronto, and Durham Region areas.
A Canada-wide warrant is out for Mohamed for breaching a statutory release.
He is currently serving a 4 1/2-year sentence for aggravated assault, and numerous firearms-related offences.
Mohamed is black male, 6'4" (193 cm), 176 lbs. (80 kg), with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the ROPE squad, police, or Crime Stoppers.
