A large gathering on Aberdeen St was broken up Saturday afternoon.
The St. Patrick's Day festivities in Kingston's university district, for the most part, has been orderly.
Thousands of people were all over the city dressed in green on Saturday for the celebrations.
However, Kingston Police Service did have to break up a large gathering in an area of Aberdeen St between Johnson St and Earl St.
Police declared a nuisance party around 2:51 pm and ordered the crowd to disperse.
The street was cleared by around 3:30 pm.
There has been no other incidents related to the celebrations reported by police.
Police and City By-Law Enforcement will continue with their University District Safety Initiative until Wednesday (18th).
