Plenty of stuff to do in Kingston during Recreation and Parks Month

The opening of the Culligan Water Park is this Saturday.

The City of Kingston has some activities planned for Recreation and Parks Month.

The Culligan Water Park will officially be open for the season this Saturday (June 7th).

There are also a number of events aimed at getting people out to the over 200 parks and greenspaces in the city.

In a news release, Mayor Bryan Paterson will be taking on other mayors in the area in a cornhole tournament on June 18th.

June is Recreation and Parks Month and it's an initiative of Parks and Recreation Ontario.

June 7: Culligan Water Park opens for the 2025 season; go shopping at the Kingston Public Market at Springer Market Square or the Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market  
June 20-22: Skeleton Park Arts Festival
June 21: K-Town Kids Triathlon
June 21: National Indigenous People’s Day presented by the Kingston Native Centre and Language Nest at Confederation Park
