OPP lay attempted murder charges after a disturbance at Napanee home

Victim is in a trauma centre with serious injuries; a 49-year-old is awaiting a bail hearing.

A Napanee man is facing several charges including attempted murder.

Lennox and Addington County OPP were called to a home around 6 pm Saturday about a disturbance.

Paramedics were already at the scene and told investigators that one person suffered serious injuries.

The victim was taken to a local trauma centre.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
