Auxiliary members will be at Amherstview Foodland and other locations as part of Operation FULL PLATE.
Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary members will be collecting donations for local food banks this Saturday as part of Operation FULL PLATE.
The one-day provincewide food drive takes place October 3, bringing Auxiliary members and community members together to help address food insecurity.
In Lennox and Addington County, donations can be dropped off at Walmart in Napanee, at Amherstview Foodland, and Northbrook Foodland.
Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items and other essential goods. Organizers say every donation can help stock local food banks and support people in need.
Operation FULL PLATE is part of the OPP Auxiliary Program's more than 65-year history of serving communities across Ontario.
