Top men's and women's curling teams from across the province will be competing for a chance to represent Ontario at the Canadian Club Curling Championship in Winnipeg.
The Royal Kingston Curling Club will host some of Ontario’s top club curling teams from October 31 to November 2 for the 2025 Runback Brewing Club Curling Championships.
The event brings together 10 men’s and 10 women’s teams from across the province, each competing for a chance to represent Ontario at the Canadian Club Curling Championship in Winnipeg.
Local favourites Noel Herron, Steve Lodge, Jason Boyce, and Chris Barkley will represent the Royal Kingston Curling Club in front of a home crowd. The competition begins Friday at 9 a.m., with an opening ceremony and parade of teams at 3:15 p.m.
The Skip of the Royal Kingston Curling Club, Noel Herron says it's a huge honour to be able to represent their club members.
Games continue through the weekend, with semi-finals set for Sunday at 9 a.m. and the finals at 1 p.m.
Herron says that being on home ice creates motivation.
Spectators are welcome, and admission is free. The Royal Kingston Curling Club, located at 130 Days Road, offers free parking and full accessibility.
Fans are encouraged to come cheer on Kingston’s hometown team this weekend and experience the excitement, skill, and sportsmanship that make curling one of Canada’s most beloved winter sports.
