Several candidates seeking the leadership of the Ontario Liberal Party are set to meet with residents in Greater Napanee.
The Hastings-Lennox and Addington Provincial Liberal Association is hosting a meet-and-greet at Selby Community Hall on Oct. 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. The Ontario Liberal Party lists the event as part of its 2026 leadership campaign schedule.
Stephanie Bowman, MPP for Don Valley West, Lee Fairclough, MPP for Etobicoke-Lakeshore, Eric Lombardi, finance and technology entrepreneur and Dylan Marando, former assistant in the Premier’s Office and the Prime Minister’s Office, have confirmed their attendance, according to organizers.
Doors open at 1 p.m., with candidate remarks and a question-and-answer session expected to begin around 2 p.m.
The event is open to the public and local media. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions and hear about their views on the future of the party and Ontario.
The leadership vote is scheduled for November.
